Some fantastic news!

We have a great venue to run The Power Meditation Workout regularly.  It will be  held every Monday (7.00pm-8.30pm) in Hampstead Town Hall, Belsize Park, starting 13th September.

The workout will go through a variety of meditation techniques with both eastern and western influence.  It is going to be a brilliant opportunity to learn these principles and practice them weekly so they become a part of your life and a powerful habit rather than just a wish.

We look forward to seeing you there!

On 25th May we delivered a workshop at a charity called Body and Soul who support families and children with HIV  (www.bodyandsoulcharity.org)

The first workshop with children aged 6 to 9 was to do with anger management.  These children are born with HIV and as they grow they suffer both physically and emotionally.  They have to live with a secret which if shared with those at school leads to bullying and discrimination.  For young, impressionable kids this can lead to a lot of frustration and anger.  We used music and techniques to help them become calm and replace angry thoughts with positive ones.

The second workshop was with 60 adults and was entitled "The Power Meditation Workout".  We took the entire group through the following stages:

1) relax

2) rejuvenate

3) renergise

The group enjoyed it so much they have asked us to return and to take them deeper so that they can apply the techniques to their lives.  This is the 3rd workshop we have delivered at Body and Soul.  It gives us such a sense of satisfaction and contribution with immeasurable worth.   We will certainly be returning in the very near future.

Leave your details with us so that we can let you know about an upcoming workshop near you!

Nicci and Dev's most recent innovation is The Power Meditation Workout.  This is their most exciting venture to date. The Power Meditation Workout provides easy to learn meditation techniques to manage stress, rediscover energy and improve performance in life.  The workout gives an opportunity to create a shift in life with a total sense of inner peace and personal power.  We are at present in discussion with a number of yoga centres and health and fitness providers to launch it.

For more information please email us and we will be happy to tell you more.

Energy Revitilised

Posted by: nicci in Everyday thoughts on

This weeks workshop we delivered at the BBC reminded me how easily people fall into the trap of having the energy sucked out of them by outside influences including close friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances, work colleagues and themselves if they allow it. If we don't 'plug the hole' and put a stop to it we end up taking everyones problems on our shoulders and forget about looking after number one 'ourselves'. By allowing outside influences to affect our moods we are effecting not only our health but our mental state and attitude towards others. We can feel constantly exhausted, bring on illness, become tired,  irritable, lack excitement and energy. Making choices to get rid of these Energy Drainers should be our number one priority. Is it yours? We had great results working with our group.  They were able to change negative thoughts to positive ones as they started to listen to themselves and their needs and not allow anyone or anything else to drain their energy. It takes time and practice to constantly keep reminding yourself who is in control of you. The more you do it the better the results and suddenly it becomes habit.

It's not suffering that destroys the soul, it's suffering without meaning that destroys a persons' soul.  Find meaning in your life today.

Our Greatest Fear

Posted by: dev in Favourite Quotes on

Our Greatest Fear -Marianne Williamson

it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other

people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

-Marianne Williamson
